About the Artist

Daniel Neumann is a sound artist, organizer, and audio engineer. In his artistic practice he works in hybrid installation-performance formats, with a focus on how sound interacts with space and how spaces can be shaped by sound. He understands sound as an intersubjective field often enabled and expanded by audio processes. He curates an event series in NYC and Berlin (CT::SWaM) that engages in spatial sound works and focuses on listening. He was the acoustic designer of The World Is Sound and works for Diamanda Galás, David Guetta, and Alarm Will Sound.
