April Sundays: How Do You Draw Sound?
April’s Family Sundays are all about sound! Explore making playful visualizations of the sounds heard in the world around you. Draw, paint, scribble, and emboss—experimentation is the name of the game!
This month’s Family Sundays coincides with OM Lab, a project through which the Rubin Museum will create the world’s largest OM with the help of visitors. Families are welcome to offer recordings of their OMs to be included in the upcoming summer exhibition, “The World is Sound.”
Support
Family Sundays are made possible by New York Life. Additional support has been provided by Con Edison, Agnes Gund, and public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
Free for children and accompanying adults
