Jeffrey Foucault

Naked Soul

Friday, 7.22.16
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

One of the finest songwriters of his generation, Jeffrey Foucault has taken “the small roads,” building an independent international touring career of ten studio albums, countless miles, and critical accolades. He’s been lauded for “stark, literate songs that are as wide open as the landscape of his native Midwest” (The New Yorker) and “close to perfection (The New York Times). Released in October, 2015, his latest album SALT AS WOLVES gives us Foucault at the height of his powers, with an openness and dimensionality that beckons the listener further in.

About Naked Soul

Naked Soul presents performances from some of the country’s top singer/songwriters without microphones or amplifiers, as if the music were, acoustically speaking, naked. The musicians in the series draw upon the universal themes inherent in Himalayan art—spirituality, peace, tolerance, wisdom, compassion—on select Friday evenings. Learn More
