K2 Friday Night

Free Admission, DJ, Cocktails, and Programs

Friday, 6.24.22
6:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Cocktails, art, and music make a heady mix during K2 Friday Nights, where admission is free every Friday from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. Café Serai becomes the K2 Lounge, offering a special drinks menu to accompany the evening’s DJ, Tikka Masala. Explore all the galleries, dive deeper with an exhibition tour at 7:15 PM, and kick off your weekend with the Rubin.

About the DJ

DJ Tikka Masala has been a New York City nightclub fixture since 2004 and can currently be heard at Henrietta Hudson. She has also composed for the Obie and Bessie award-winning LAVA dance company. DJ-ing locally and internationally, at gigs ranging from a basement party in Bedford-Stuyvesant to the 2010 White House Diwali Party, her sets blend genres that are commonly heard from Bombay to Brooklyn. Hip-hop, reggaeton, dancehall, Bollywood, classic pop, and hot new local tracks are all part of the mix.
