Are you a college student, graduate student, or recent postgraduate interested in a career in the museum world but aren’t sure where to start? Take your first steps at the Rubin Museum’s annual Museum College Career Workshop.
Taking place each spring, this free event is an opportunity to meet with museum professionals, learn about the many career paths available to you, and get practical advice for your foray into the industry.
This year, we are excited to welcome the following panelists from the Rubin and other museums around New York, including:
- An associate registrar from the Museum of the City of New York
- A curatorial and education associate at Cooper Hewitt
- Curatorial assistants from the Brooklyn Museum, MoMA, and the Rubin
- Education specialists from the Rubin, the Morgan Library, and the Metropolitan Museum
- Graphic design and marketing staff from the Rubin
- A gallery owner
- A development specialist
- A Manager with MTA Arts & Design
After the event enjoy free admission to the galleries and the Rubin’s K2 Friday Night.
