Opening Night Celebration
The Wheel of Intentions
Friday, 1.18.19
6:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Set your intentions for the New Year with an interactive new art installation in our lobby! This special K2 Friday Night marks the opening of The Wheel of Intentions, an installation inspired by Tibetan prayer wheels and part of our upcoming exhibition The Power of Intention. Celebrate with free admission and activities throughout the Museum.
With each turn of the wheel, activate your intentions and reinforce the intentions of others as they are released into the world. See how they take visual form and travel up the spiral staircase.

About the DJ
Nat Rahav, aka Busquelo, has been selecting sublime global grooves for discerning dancefloors for over two decades. His music melds the folkloric and the futuristic, invoking ancestral rhythms as the blueprint for deep excursions into international dance music culture.
A longtime collaborator and resident DJ with Turntables on the Hudson, he ran the record label RhythmLove with partner Nickodemus, was a resident at Brooklyn’s Bembe club, and most recently founded Present Present, a family-friendly global electronic music and vegetarian food festival.
Museum admission is free every Friday night from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. during K2 Friday Nights.
