Is there anything more delicious than a momo?

Learn how to make traditional Tibetan momo dumplings at this workshop, tasting, and reception.

Join us for a drink at 6:30 PM, then learn about the history of the momo and how to make them yourself. Afterwards, join your fellow momo-makers in a tasting of your handiwork and enjoy an open bar.

This exclusive event is for Visionary Circle Members, the Rubin’s young patrons’ group for individuals ages 21–40. The workshop is free for Visionary Circle members. Visionary Circle guest tickets can be purchased for $20.

About the Instructor


Sandra Garson is a Himalayan culinary expert, caterer, food historian, and author of Veggiyana: The Dharma of Cooking, one of the best sellers at the Rubin shop. Sandra sometimes goes by the name Nana Chef when teaching young children to be comfortable in the kitchen. She continues to encourage farm fresh cooking and kitchen comfort on her blog, How To Fix a Leek, and posts on Facebook as Prima Dharma Cook, where she receives positive response to recipes showcasing the versatility of chickpeas.

Sandra and Tashi Chodron will lead a momo making and tasting workshop for Visionary Circle Members and friends, and Sandra will be available to sign her book Veggiyana.
