Art from Home: Powerful Pride
What does compassion look like to you? How can you show it to others? In celebration of Pride Month, explore empathy through Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion. In this activity, celebrate others by creating jewelry out of materials found at home and gift them to people you care about!
Materials List:
- Plastic bags—the more colorful the better!
- Scissors
- Paperweight or anything heavy that can hold down your art while you’re working
- Tape (optional)
