In a world facing crisis, we need more than politics as usual. We need the kind of deep, transformational change that spiritual practice brings—in how we relate to ourselves, to each other, and to the earth.

Real Change: How Spirituality Can Power Activism, a panel discussion on the power of spiritually-inspired activism, is presented by Lion’s Roar as part of its 40th anniversary celebrations. This fascinating and important discussion will feature renowned Buddhist teacher Sharon Salzberg, Christian progressive leader and Union Theological Seminary President Serene Jones, and NYU student Lydia Mason, one of the next generation of black secular teen activists.

This is the second of three panel discussions Lion’s Roar is hosting this year at the Rubin Museum. The series will offer Buddhist perspectives on important issues of our time.
