Celebrate the spirit of our community at the Rubin Museum’s annual Block Party. Come make some noise with thousands of other New Yorkers with art and activities for all ages inspired by the exhibition The World is Sound.
Join us for:
- Hands-on activities and participatory events for children and adults
- Meditation spaces
- Silent disco
- Special offers from the shop
- Himalayan snacks for purchase from Café Serai and food trucks Van Leeuwen Artisan ice cream and Korilla Korean Tacos
Performances by:
- New York Suwa Taiko Association
- The Blue Angels Drumline
- Poets John Giorno and Tenzin Dickie
- Kirtan concert with the Bhakti Center
- Dana Flynn of Laughing Lotus Yoga
- Drawing Sound, a live painting and sound collaboration curated and MCed by Rhiannon Catalyst

Event is free and open to the public (includes FREE admission to the museum all day) and will happen rain or shine
